Significant Highlights and Niche Services

The capabilities of RPS in Europe rise above the many challenges faced by our clients to produce clinical trials generating not just the essential elements of high quality, well-timed clinical projects but using thought leaders that bestow the necessary science, depth and breadth of all regulatory bodies as well as the investigator community, that are so pivotal for a successful program.

Highlights:

  • Some of our thought leaders are actively involved in scientific research both in the context of clinical trials and in cooperation with university departments. Thus we are among only a few CROs in the world contributing directly to the progress of science.
  • We developed Patient Related Outcome measures to assess symptom severity (pain, sleep, sexual dysfunction, symptoms in specific indications like Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS)), treatment complications (RLS-augmentation) or to evaluate impairment of daily activities and quality of life (chronic venous insufficiency, depression, RLS).
  • The application of complex statistical methods like multivariate analyses or neuronal network methodology to clinical data contributes to the exploration of more comprehensive dimensions of disease processes and treatment outcomes.
  • Prof. Dr. Ralf Kohnen is author and coauthor of more than 100 publications in high ranking peer-reviewed journals in research areas neurology, psychiatry, and pain.
  • The “Survival Guide to Clinical Trials in Spain” is available free of charge.
